Trump: "Americans Speak English." Democrats, Don't Crash Out.
The Democrats are cooked if they don't start being normal

Donald Trump can troll the Democrats so well because he sees clearly that the Democratic Party leaders are weird, and the more you expose the Democrat leadership being themselves, the more they appear strange to most Americans.
Donald Trump is set to issue an executive order declaring English the official language of the United States. Properly, Congress should do that, and only Congress has that authority. But Democrats are likely going to call that “racist,” and in doing so, they are calling nearly every American a racist. That only helps actual racists by letting them position themselves as merely misunderstood normies. But that is not true; racists are really weird. Democrat leaders need to chill out and stop helping the other side. They need to get over themselves if they are actually going to help the country.
The Democrats seem to have adopted the idea that being normal is weird. No, being anti-English is weird. They should fire their consultants. The folks advising the Democrats might as well be working for the tech-bros supporting Donald Trump. Not only do the Democrats look tired and out of ideas, but the ideas they do have, have nothing to do with helping regular Americans, and are just plain strange. Working class Americas in danger of losing benefits are fine with English as the official language and will probably more shocked to learn that it is not already. So, don’t let Trump drive a wedge between you and the working class by being weird about English.
The majority of countries in the world have one official language. Most of the rest have two official languages, and some have more. But having an official language is normal. America does not have one; that is not typical in 2025. Most Americans speak English, most Americans want the US to keep speaking English, and most Americans are fine with the US speaking English and making what is already true official. This includes Black folks, whites, and the other ethnicities.
There are a lot of odd things happening in the US right now: a lot of irregularities, a lot of apparent corruption, and a lot of unhelpful chaos. The Democrats need to help stop the nonsense. But they cannot if they insist on being weirder on basic issues. Opposing English as the national language of the United States of America would be odd and more bizarre to the average American than the other stuff going on. Such opposition is, in practice, less harmful than opposing vaccines; I mean, of course, it is less harmful than opposing vaccines. Opposing proven vaccines that have worked for decades is deadly. But opposing English as the official national language is indulgent and weird, so it helps the people who oppose vaccines, which is killing people. So, to stop the bad ideas, the Democrat needs to have some self-control and stop indulging every supposedly cosmopolitan idea that pops into their heads. Opposing national languages is not cosmopolitan, by the way; cosmopolitians have been learning other countries' official languages with no problem since forever.
Unfortunately, many Americans are confused about vaccines and the role of government-run public health in keeping them alive. They are “unaliving” themeselves due to misinformation. This is deadly serious. But they are not confused about what language Americans speak and have spoken since 1607. They are not going to listen about vaccines from the folks who lose it and crash out over English as the national language.
This is just the Democrats being weird. Stop it. The Democrats can win if they chill out.
Serious question -- "Democrat leaders need to chill out and stop helping the other side. They need to get over themselves if they are actually going to help the country." Do Democrats want to help America or only themselves? The more I watch the meltdown, the more I am coming to believe that the entire Democrat and Republican party establishments and far more than a mere majority of federal employees only think of themselves, not their fellow Americans, much less the country. Perhaps, we ought to bring in folks from the old Irish and Italian protective associations to investigate the organized crime network that is the American political and governmental combine. Maybe we the people ought to apply the RICO act to the parties and the government itself.
