I think too many are getting caught up in the question of whether or not the attack by Israel is "justified," and I think that is missing the point of how conflicts start. Iran has been bellicose for a very long time. It is Proverbs 15: "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly." Iran has been speaking harshly and talking foolishness for two decades.
Thanks for writing. This is a take I’m not hearing in my silos, but persuasive and intuitively sensible.
